Shopping cart is showing sales tax line twice - how to edit and fix that

Aug 30, 2023

You have mapped the incorrect fields in the Summary settings page. That's why sales tax is displayed twice. Please follow the instructions below to fix it.

Login to Neartail > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > In the Neartail edit page, click on the gear icon next to the form title > Form settings page will be displayed > click on the configure fields icon next to the Save button > Summary settings page will be displayed > You have selected the sales tax field for the Amount option. Please select the Order amount field for the Amount and click Save.

Important: You have added required fields in the first page in the form and also enabled the search option. This will allow users to directly navigate to the product pages without filling in the required fields. This will cause issues with recording the orders correctly. You must either remove the search option or move the required fields after the product pages.

thank you so much!

Hi Nat, If you have created your form in Google Forms, you must set the currency when you customize the form using the Neartail addon. You will be able to enable payments only if the currency is set in the form.

Open your form in Google Forms > click on the addon icon > click Neartail > click Calculate order amount > select the currency, click Next > select the Calculate from price option, click Next > click Customize > Edit page will open in a new tab > you can then enable payments.

I n the Neartail Edit page, click on the gear icon next to the Submit button > Button settings will be displayed > click Enable payments > The payment options supported in your country will be displayed. You can configure any of these options in your form.
